•Checktheair-cleanerbodyfordamagewhich
couldcauseanairleak.Replaceitifitisdamaged.
Checkthewholeintakesystemforleaks,damage
orloosehoseclamps.Also,inspecttherubber
intakehoseconnectionsattheaircleanerand
theturbotomakesurethattheconnectionsare
complete.
•Servicetheair-cleanerlteronlywhen“CheckAir
Filter”isdisplayedonthescreen.Changingthe
airlterbeforeitisnecessaryonlyincreasesthe
chanceofdirtenteringtheenginewhenthelter
isremoved.
•Besurethatthecoverisseatedcorrectlyand
sealswiththeair-cleanerbody.
CheckingtheAir-CleanerIndicator
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Starttheengine.
2.Checktherestricted,air-cleanerindicatoronthe
displayscreen;refertotheAir-CleanerIndicator
ScreenintheSoftwareGuideforthismachine.
3.Replacetheair-lterelement(s)asfollows:
A.Replacetheprimary,air-cleanerlter;refer
toServicingtheAir-CleanerFilter(page78).
B.Repeatsteps1and2;iftherestricted
air-cleanerindicatorisstillshownonthe
displayscreen,replacethesecondary,
air-cleanerlter;refertoServicingthe
Air-CleanerFilter(page78).
CleaningtheDustValve
ServiceInterval:Every50hours
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Opentherear-accessdoor;refertoOpeningthe
Rear-AccessDoor(page72).
3.Squeezethesidesofthedustvalveonthe
air-cleanercovertoreleaseanycollectedwater,
dust,ordirtfromthevalve.(Figure87).
Note:Ensurethattherearenoobstructions
insidethedustvalve.
