ServiceInterval:Every250hours—Replacethe
primaryandsecondaryfuellters.
ReplacingthePrimaryFuelFilter
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Openthefronthood;refertoOpeningtheFront
Hood(page72).
3.Placecleanragsundertheprimaryfuellter
(Figure98).
4.Loosenthehoseclampsandseparatethe
primaryfuellterfromthefuelhoses(Figure98).
Note:Donotremovethehoseclampsfrom
thehoses.
Note:Discardthefuellter.
5.Alignthenewprimaryfuelltertothehoseswith
thearrowprintedonthelterpointingforward.
6.Slipthehosesoverthehosettingoftheprimary
fuellter,andtightenthehoseclamps(Figure
98).
