LooseningtheTrackTension
Ifthetrackseemstight,loosenthetracktensionas
follows:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Removedirtanddebrisfoundaroundthe
track-tensiongreasevalve(Figure109).
Important:Ensurethattheentirearea
surroundingthetrack-tensiongreasevalve
iscleanbeforebeginningtoadjustthetrack
tension.
3.Removetheretainingboltsandthecoverthat
housethetrack-tensiongreasevalve.
4.Turnthetrack-tensiongreasevalve
counterclockwisenomorethan1revolution
(Figure109).
Note:A1-revolutionturnwillreleasegrease
andloosenthetrack.
5.Whenthetensionreaches31,026kPa(4,500
psi),turnthetrack-tensiongreasevalve
clockwisetotightenit.
6.Removeexcessgreasefromaroundthevalve.
7.Installthecoverandretainingbolts.
8.Repeatsteps2through7toloosenthetrack
tensionontheotherside.

EngineandRadiatorcoolantcapacity:16.8L(17.7
USqt)
WARNING
Ifyouremovetheradiatorcapfromahot
engine,hotcoolantcouldspray,causing
scalding.
Wearfaceprotectionwhenopeningthe
radiatorcap.
Allowthecoolingsystemtocooldownto
below50°C(120°F)beforeremovingthe
radiatorcap.
Followtheinstructionsforcheckingand
maintainingtheenginecoolingsystem.
WARNING
Coolantistoxic.
Keepcoolantawayfromchildrenandpets.
Ifyouarenotusingthesamecoolant
again,disposeofitaccordingtolocal
environmentalregulations.
