Installing the Alarm Installing the Wire Harness 1. Remove the existing bolts from the back of the machine (Figure 1). 1. Remove the four bolts securing the kick plate to the frame and remove the plate (Figure 2) 2. Install the alarm to the bracket with 2 bolts (M6-1 x 20) and 2 nuts (M6-1) (Figure 1). 3. Apply thread-locking compound onto the existing bolts (Figure 1). 4. Install the bracket to the rear of the machine with the existing bolts (Figure 1). Figure 2 1. Kick plate g028939 2.

6. Secure the harness under the cab to the main harness with the cable ties. 7. Install the kick plate and foot plate. Checking the Alarm • Check and ensure the alarm is working by turning the ignition key to on (do not start the machine) and push the traction pedal to the reverse position. • With the ignition key on, move the traction joystick in the reverse direction. Note: The alarm should sound when the joystick and traction pedal are activated.
