Installing the Directional Valve Cover and Assembly Installing the Auxiliary Valve 1. Apply thread-locking adhesive to the 3 bolts (M8) and secure the auxiliary valve to the bracket as shown in Figure 2. 1. Install the 3 clip nuts onto the new cover assembly as shown in Figure 4. Install the 2 fittings (90 degree, 1/2-inch male, 5/8-inch male) onto the valve as shown in Figure 2. 2.

7. Torque the valve nut to 142 to 162 N-m (105 to 120 ft-lb). 90-degree fitting on the auxiliary valve as shown in Figure 8. 8. Apply thread-locking adhesive to the 2 bolts (5/16 inch) and loosely secure the directional valve assembly to the cover using the 2 bolts, and 2 washers as shown in Figure 6.
