Loosely install the frame-mount bracket onto the hub using 2 bolts (M14—2.00 x 30 mm, Class 10.9) and 2 bolts (M14—2.00 x 60 mm, Class 10.9) up through the bottom kingpin and 4 lock washers as shown in Figure 4. 3 Installing the Frame-Mount Bracket Note: Apply high-strength, thread-locking compound to the bolts before installing them. Note: Use a floor jack to hold the frame-mount bracket in place while you install it.

Install the direction bracket onto the frame-mount bracket with 2 bolts (M12—1.75 x 60 mm, Class 8.8) and 2 locknuts (M12—1.75, Class 8.8) in the lower holes; install a hex nut (M16, Class 8.8) at the upper hole as shown in Figure 5.
5 Torquing the Fasteners No Parts Required Procedure Important: Perform this procedure on each hub. 1. Tighten all the hardware from the previous steps except for the direction bracket (step 6). • Torque the 2 bolts (M14—2.00 x 30 mm, Class 10.9) and 2 bolts (M14—2.00 x 60 mm, Class 10.9) that secure the frame-mount bracket (refer to step 3 of 3 Installing the Frame-Mount Bracket (page 3)) to 164 to 200 N-m (121 to 147 ft-lb). • Torque the 4 bolts (M16—2.00 x 50 mm, Class 10.

7. Secure the sprockets together using 6 sets of fasteners that consist of a bolt (M16—2.00 x 40 mm, Class 10.9), 2 washers, and a hex nut (M16—2.00, Class 10.9) each (Figure 14). Adjust the tension of the tracks after the first 25 operating hours to prevent the components from wearing prematurely.
