1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandlowerthe

backhoetotheground.

2.Shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekey

switch.

3.RotatethebatterydisconnectswitchtotheOff

position;refertotheOperator’sManualforthemachine.

4.Removethe4hex-headbolts(3/8x1inch)and4

washers(3/8inch)thatsecuretheconsolepaneltothe

operatorconsoleforthebackhoe(Figure1).

Connect the 10-socket connector of the backhoe wiring harness that is labeled Throttle to the 10-pin connector of the inboard rocker switch (Figure 4). Installing the Console Panel 1. Apply medium grade (service removable) thread locking compound to the threads of the 4 hex-head bolts (3/8 x 1 inch) that you remove in step 4 of Removing the Console Panel. 2. Align the mounting holes in the console panel with the mounting holes in the operators console (Figure 1). 3. Secure the panel to the console with the 4 hex-head bolts and 4 washers, and torque the bolts 51 to 65 N-m (38 to 48 lb-ft). 4.
