BEFORE OPERATING Note: The Toto Company strongly recommends the use of fresh, clean, UNLEADED regular grade gasoline in Toto gasoline powered products. Unleaded gasoline burns cleaner, extends engine life, and promotes good starting by reducing the build—up of combustion chamber deposits. Leaded gasoline can be used if unleaded is not available. 1. Clean around fuel tank cap (Fig. 10) and remove cap from tank. Do not fill tank full.

MAINTENANCE 1. Drain gasoline. Refer to Draining Gasoline section. 2. Run engine until it dies. Try starting engine once more to make sure gas is out of carburetor. 3. Pull wire off spark plug (Fig. 12). Remove key from switch on electric start model. 4. Lift discharge door and turnover grass bag. Drain gasoline from fuel tank: refer to Draining Gasoline, page 13. 5. Remove dipstick from oil fill tube and place a drain pan next to left side of mower. 6.
