CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingairintake
andexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,exhaust
area,andhydraulicsystemtooverheatwhichcan
createarehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.
1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromscreenatthetopoftheengine,
aroundengineshrouding,andexhaustsystemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundtheengine
andexhaustsystemarea.
RemovingtheEngineShrouds
andCleaningtheCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every80hours
1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengine.
3.Cleancoolingnsoftheengine.
Note:Alsocleandust,dirt,andoilfromexternal
surfacesofenginewhichcancauseimpropercooling.
4.Installthecoolingshroudsintotheengine.
Note:Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshrouds
willcauseenginedamageduetooverheating.
CleaningtheDebrisfromthe

1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuilduponthe
machineandaeratordeck.
3.Cleanoffanydebrisorgrassunderthechainguards,
aroundthefueltank,andaroundtheengineand
exhaustarea.
WasteDisposal
DisposingoftheEngineOil
Engineoilandhydraulicoilarebothpollutantstothe
environment.Disposeofusedoilatacertiedrecycling
centeroraccordingtoyourstateandlocalregulations.
DisposingoftheBattery
DANGER
Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid,whichis
poisonousandcancausesevereburns.Swallowing
electrolytecanbefatalorifittouchesskincan
causesevereburns.
Wearsafetyglassestoshieldeyes,andrubber
glovestoprotectskinandclothingwhen
handlingelectrolyte.
Donotswallowelectrolyte.
Intheeventofanaccident,ushwithwaterand
calladoctorimmediately.
Federallawstatesthatbatteriesshouldnotbeplacedinthe
garbage.Managementanddisposalpracticesforbatteries
mustfollowrelevantfederal,state,orlocallaws.
Ifabatteryisbeingreplacedorifthemachinecontaining
thebatteryisnolongeroperatingandisbeingscrapped,
removethebatteryandtakeittoalocalcertiedrecycling
center.Ifnolocalrecyclingisavailablereturnthebatteryto
anycertiedbatteryreseller.
