Mower Spindle Drive Belt Installation

(40”, 48”, 52” and 60” Mower Decks)

6. Remove the right and left belt covers (Fig. 1148). 8. Remove the mower spindle drive belt (Fig. 1150).

1. Route the mower spindle drive belt around the

mower deck pulleys. Refer to the deck routing decal

(Fig. 1151):

7. Using a spring removal tool (Toro p/n: 92-5771)

remove the idler spring from the spring plate (Fig.

1149).
