Front & Rear Deck Hanger
Replacement
Front Deck Hanger Removal
1. Remove the drive belt from the center spindle pulley.
Refer to “PTO Drive Belt Removal (40”, 48”, 52”, and
60” Mower Decks)” on page 8-6 or “PTO Drive Belt
Removal (36” Mower Decks)” on page 8-8.
2. Lift up on the mower deck and remove the hairpin(s)
from the deck hanger pins (Fig. 1304).

3. Remove the spacers (if present) from the deck
hanger pins (Fig. 1305).

4. Remove the nut from the bolt securing the ball joint
to the mower deck (Fig. 1306).
