Note:Awarmorhotengineusuallydoesnot
requireanychoking.Tostartawarmengine,move
throttlecontroltothefastposition.
4.Grasprecoilstarterhandlermlyandpullout
untilpositiveengagementresults;thenpullhandle
vigorouslytostartengineandallowropetorecoil
slowly.
Important:Donotpullrecoilropetoitslimit
orletgoofthestarterhandlewhenropeis
pulledoutbecauseropemaybreakorrecoil
assemblymaybedamaged.
StoppingtheEngine
1.Movethethrottlelevertotheslowposition
(Figure7).
2.Letengineidlefor30to60secondsbeforeturning
theignitionkeytooff.
3.Turntheignitionkeytooff(Figure7).

EngagingtheMowerBlades(PTO)
1.Releasetheuppercontrolbartostopthemachine
(Figure8).
2.Toengageblade,squeezebladecontrolbailagainst
theuppercontrolbar(Figure8).
3.Pullthepowertakeoffswitch(PTO)upand
release.Holdthebladecontrolbailagainstthe
uppercontrolbarwhileoperating.
4.Repeattheproceduretoengagethemowerbladesif
thebladecontrolbailisreleased.
