38. Slide a trunion onto the speed control rod and snug

ﬁ t a second nut against the trunnion (Fig. 0508).

39. Position the speed control rod so that the upper end

is installed in the forwardmost hole of the speed

control lever. Install a hairpin cotter into the speed

control rod securing it to the speed control lever (Fig.

0509).

40. Position the speed control rod trunnion into the tab

on the speed control crank assembly (Fig. 0510).

41. Install a washer onto the trunnion and secure the

trunnion with a cotter pin (Fig. 0511).
