42. Tighten the jam nuts securing the speed control rod
trunnion in place (Fig. 0512).

44. Adjust the Speed Control Linkage. Refer to “Speed

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the
ignition.
2. Remove the neutral return spring from the lower tab
on the drive lever swivel (Fig. 0514).
