Choke Cable Replacement

Choke Cable Removal

62. Position the control panel cover/manual tube as-

sembly to the control panel (Fig. 0712).

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the

ignition.

2. Loosen the clamp that secures the choke cable to

the engine (Fig. 0714).

3. Remove the choke cable from the clamp and re-

move the z-bend from the choke control lever (Fig.

0715).

64. Connect the negative battery terminal to the battery.

63. Install 4 screws (2 on the left, 2 on the right) secur-

ing the control panel cover to the control panel (Fig.

0713).
