39. Replace the carrier frame cover (Fig. 0856).

40. Plug the clutch connector into the harness connector

(Fig. 0857).

36. Install the trailing shield into the chassis by ﬁ rst

inserting the right side of the trailing shield rod (bent

at a 90º angle) into the hole in the chassis and then

insert the left end of the trailing shield rod (bent at a

45º angle) into the hole in the chassis (Fig. 0854).

37. Lower the machine.

38. Roll the PTO drive belt on to the center mower deck

pulley (Fig. 0855).
