Hydro Idler Replacement

Hydro Idler Removal

12. Lower the machine.

13. Roll the PTO drive belt onto the center mower deck

pulley (Fig. 0956).

15. Connect the negative (black) battery cable to the

negative battery terminal and cover the connection

with the boot (Fig. 0958).

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the

ignition.

2. Using a spring removal tool (Toro part number 92-

5771), unhook the hydro idler spring from the tab on

the frame (Fig. 0959).

14. Install the carrier frame cover (Fig. 0957).
