Gear Drive Transmission

Replacement

Gear Drive Transmission Removal

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the

ignition.

2. Raise the machine to access the underside of the

frame.

3. Unhook the gear drive idler spring from the tab on

the frame (Fig. 1094).

4. Remove the nut from the bolt securing the gear drive

idler arm to the frame (Fig. 1095).

5. Lower the gear drive idler assembly out of the frame

(Fig. 1096).
