7. Remove the retaining ring from the end of the trans-

mission drive shaft (Fig. 1098).

8. Loosen the set screw securing the transmission

driven pulley to the transmission driveshaft (Fig.

1099).

6. Remove the drive belt from the transmission driven

pulley (Fig. 1097).

9. Slide the driven pulley off the transmission driveshaft

(Fig. 1100).
