4. Remove the lock cap (Fig. 1259).

5. Remove the lock screw by unthreading it from the
adjustable baffl e assembly (Fig. 1260).

6. Remove the nut from the self-tapping screw that
secures the adjustable baffl e to the underside of the
mower deck (Fig. 1261).

7. Remove the self-tapping screw that secures the
adjustable baffl e to the underside of the mower deck
(Fig. 1262).
