3. Tighten all 3 carriage bolts and nuts to secure the

skid plate to the mower deck (Fig. 1297).

4. Lower the machine.

Skid Plate Replacement

(36” Mower Deck)

1. Raise the machine to access the underside of the

mower deck.

2. Remove the 2 carriage bolts and nuts securing the

front of the skid plate to the mower deck (Fig. 1298).

3. Remove the 2 carriage bolts and nuts securing the

rear of the skid plate to the mower deck (Fig. 1299).
