3. Plug the harness into the neutral switch (Fig. 1481). 5. To adjust the switch location, loosen the two neutral

bracket screws holding the switch plate to the frame

(Fig. 1483).

6. Adjust the switch up or down to obtain an 1/8” to 1/4”

(3 to 6 mm) space (Fig. 1484).

4. With the speed control lever in the neutral position,

check to make sure the safety switch is depressed

with an 1/8” to 1/4” (3 to 6mm) space between the

actuating tab and the safety switch body (Fig. 1482).
