4. Move the negative battery terminal boot and dis-

connect the negative (black) battery cable from the

battery (Fig. 0236).

5. Turn the fuel valve to the “Off” position (Fig. 0237).

7. Remove the fuel line from the fuel pump. Place

the end of the fuel line in a suitable container (Fig.

0239).

6. Slide the hose clamp off the fuel line at the fuel

pump (Fig. 0238).
