Information to fit up current GM 3280D/3320 decks to older tractor applications.
Situation:
The cutting deck designs used on the GM 3280D & 3320 are related to the earlier
GM 1000L/200 Series decks. Some of the current production decks can be used
as replacements on the above list of older tractors. Modification of the carrier
assembly is required to accommodate the larger pivot pin used in current deck
models.
Correction:
The deck attachment point of the 200 Series Groundsmaster will need to be
updated to accommodate the larger deck carrier pins used in the current deck
designs. This modification will require replacement of the original welded carrier
brackets (92-9786-03) with 2 of Carrier Bracket (110-9678-03).
Deck models 52” Side Discharge Deck (30551) and the 62” SDD (30555) will fit all
of the 200 Series tractors, with the exception of the GM 220 (30798). This model
will only fit up with the 52” deck (30551).
