•Stoptheenginebeforeremovingthegrasscatcheror

uncloggingthechute.

–Ensurethatthemachineisonlevelground.

–DisengagethePTO.

–Clearbystandersfromtheareaaroundthehopper

andthehopperlinkage.

–Checktheoverheadclearance.

•Donotdumptheclippingsoveranembankment.

•Lowerthehopperfullybeforedrivingthemachine.

•Thegrasscatchercanobstructtheviewtotherear.Use

extracarewhenoperatingthemachineinreverse.

•Ifyouremovethegrasscatcher,besuretotheinstallany

dischargedeectororguardthatyoumighthaveremoved

toinstallthegrasscatcher.Donotoperatethemower

withouteithertheentiregrasscatcherorgrassdeector

inplace.

•Beforedisconnectingorperforminganyworkonthe

hydraulicsystem,relieveallthepressureinthesystem

bystoppingtheengineandloweringtheimplementto

theground.

•Useextracarewithgrasscatchersorotherattachments.

•Donotremoveanyhydrauliclineunlessthehopperis

fullyloweredorfullyraisedandempty.

•Ensurethatallhydrauliclineconnectorsaretightandthat

allhydraulichosesandlinesareingoodconditionbefore

applyingpressuretothesystem.

•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin-holeleaksor

nozzlesthatejecthydraulicuidunderhighpressure.

Usepaperorcardboard,notyourhands,tosearchfor

leaks.Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecanhave

sufcientforcetopenetratetheskinanddoserious

damage.Ifuidisejectedintotheskin,itmustbe

surgicallyremovedwithinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliar

withthisformofinjuryorgangrenemayresult.

Maintenance Lubrication Service Interval: Every 25 hours Adjusting the Rear-Cover Latch Grease the cylinder and all pivot points with No. 2 lithium grease. There are 8 grease fittings at the various pivot points and 1 fitting on each end of the cylinder (Figure 26).
