Drivebelt

•Loosentheboltandnutsecuringthejackshaft

assemblytotheadjustmentbracket(Figure17).

•Usinga1/2inchratchet,torquewrenchorsimilar

tool,rotatethejackshaftassemblyuntilthedesired

belttensionisattained.

•Tightentheboltandnuttolocktheadjustment.

Blowerbelt

•Loosenthe2boltsandnutssecuringtheadjustment

brackettotheblowermount(Figure17).

•Prytheadjustmentbracketoutwarduntilthe

desiredbelttensionisattained.

•Tightentheboltsandnutstolocktheadjustment.

Procedure

1.Movethecuttingunitintopositioninfrontofthe

tractionunit.

2.SlidethemalePTOshaftintothefemalePTOshaft.

3.MovetheliftlevertotheFloatposition.Pushaliftarm

downuntiltheholesintheliftarmlineupwiththe

holesinthecastorarmbracketandtheheightofcut

rodcanbeinsertedintotheliftarmpads(Figure19).

4.Securetheliftarmtothecastorarmwith2thrust

washers,aclevispinandahairpincotter.Positionthe

thrustwashersbetweentheliftarmandthecastorarm

bracket(Figure19).Insertendofcotterpinintothe

slotinthecastorarmtabtoretaincotterpin.

5.Repeattheprocedureontheoppositeliftarm.

6.Startthetractionunitandraisethecuttingunit.
