Mismatch
Duetodifferencesingrassconditionsandthecounterbalance
settingofthetractionunit,itisadvisedthatgrassbecutand
appearancecheckedbeforeformalcuttingisstarted.
1.Setthecuttingunittothedesiredheightofcut;referto
AdjustingtheHeightofCut.
2.Checkandadjustfrontandreartractortirepressure
to138kPa(20psi).
3.Checkandadjustallcastortirepressuresto345kPa
(50psi).
4.Checkforbentblades;refertoCheckingforaBent
Blade.
5.Cutgrassinatestareatodetermineifallcuttingunits
arecuttingatthesameheight.
6.Ifcuttingunitadjustmentsarestillneeded,ndaat
surfaceusinga2m(6foot)orlongerstraightedge.
7.Toeasemeasuringbladeplane,raisetheheightofcut
tothehighestposition;refertoAdjustingtheHeight
ofCut.
8.Lowerthecuttingunitontotheatsurface.Remove
thecoversfromthetopofthecuttingunits.
9.Rotatethebladeoneachspindleuntiltheendsface
forwardandbackward.
10.Measurefromtheoortothefronttipofthecutting
edge.
UsingtheSideDischarge
Themowerhasahingedgrassdeectorthatdisperses
clippingstothesideanddowntowardtheturf.
DANGER
Withoutagrassdeector,dischargecover,or
completegrasscatcherassemblymountedin
place,youandothersareexposedtobladecontact
andthrowndebris.Contactwithrotatingmower
blade(s)andthrowndebriswillcauseinjuryor
death.
Neverremovethegrassdeectorfromthemower
becausethegrassdeectorroutesmaterialdown
towardtheturf.Ifthegrassdeectorisever
damaged,replaceitimmediately.
Neverputyourhandsorfeetunderthemower.
Nevertrytoclearthedischargeareaormower
bladesunlessyoumovethepowertakeoff(blade
controlswitch(PTO)totheoffposition,rotate
theignitionkeytooffandremovethekey.
Makesurethegrassdeectorisinthedown
position.
