Pitch
Cuttingunitpitchisthedifferenceinheight-of-cutfrom
thefrontofthebladeplanetothebackoftheblade
plane.Useabladepitchof6mm(1/4inch).Thatis
thebackofthebladeplaneis6mm(1/4inch)higher
thanthefront.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Setthecuttingunittothedesiredheight-of-cut.
5.Rotate1bladesothatitpointsstraightforward.
6.Usingashortruler,measurefromtheoorto
thefronttipoftheblade.Rotatethebladetipto
therearandmeasurefromtheoortothetip
oftheblade.
7.Subtractthefrontdimensionfromtherear
dimensiontocalculatethebladepitch.
8.Loosenthejamnutsonthebottomofthe
height-of-cutrods(Figure12).
