RemovingtheBlades
Bladesmustbereplacedifasolidobjectishit,ifthe
bladeisoutofbalanceorisbent.Toensureoptimum
performanceandcontinuedsafetyconformanceof
themachine,usegenuineTororeplacementblades.
Replacementbladesmadebyothermanufacturersmay
resultinnon-conformancewithsafetystandards.
Contactwithasharpbladecancauseserious
injury.
Wearglovesorwrapsharpedgesoftheblade
witharag.
1.Holdthebladeendusingaragorthickly-padded
glove.
2.Removethebladebolt,anti-scalpplate,andblade
fromthespindleshaft(Figure72).
SharpeningtheBlades
Whensharpeningblade,piecesofbladecould
bethrownandcauseseriousinjury.
Wearpropereyeprotectionwhensharpening
blades.
1.Sharpenthecuttingedgeatbothendsoftheblade
(Figure70).Maintaintheoriginalangle.Theblade
retainsitsbalanceifthesameamountofmaterialis
removedfrombothcuttingedges.

bladebalancer(Figure71).Ifthebladestaysina
horizontalposition,thebladeisbalancedandcanbe
used.Ifthebladeisnotbalanced,lesomemetaloff
