equippedattachments,shutofftheengine,and
removethekey.
2.Thoroughlycleanthemachineandcab,paying
specialattentiontotheseareas:
•PTOshaftassembly
•Allgreasettingsandpivotpoints
•OilthesplineonthePTOoutputshaftto
preventrusting
3.Checkandadjustthetirepressure;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page54).
4.Checkallfastenersforloosenessandtighten
themasnecessary.Ensurethatthe5boltsthat
securethewinterframetothetractionunitare
torquedto359N∙m(265ft-lb).
5.Greaseoroilallgreasettingsandpivotpoints
andwipeoffanyexcesslubricant.
6.Lightlysandandusetouchuppaintonpainted
areasthatarescratched,chipped,orrusted.
Repairanydentsinthemetalbody.
