1.Positionthetractionunitonalevelsurface,setthe

parkingbrake,lowerthecuttingunits,turntheignition

off,andremovethekey.

CAUTION

Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,

someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand

seriouslyinjureyouorbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch

beforeyoudoanymaintenance.

2.Disconnectthenegative-batterycablefromthebattery

post(Figure1).

1.Removethenutsfromthe2carriageboltssecuringthe

headlightstothetraction-unitframe(Figure2).

2.Removethe2slottedscrewssecuringthetopofthe

platformshroudtotheframe(Figure2).

3.Unplugtheheadlight-wireconnectorsandremovethe

shroudfromtheframe(Figure2).
