Procedure

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthedeck,

engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,and

removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.

2.Disconnectthenegativecablefromthebatterypost;

refertotheOperator’sManualforyourmachine.

WARNING

Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage

themachineandcablescausingsparks.

Sparkscancausethebatterygassesto

explode,resultinginpersonalinjury.

•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)

batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe

positive(red)cable.

•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery

cablebeforeconnectingthenegative

(black)cable.

Installing the Differential Lock Kit Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Mount plate 2 Carriage screw (3/8 x 1 inch) 2 Flange nut (3/8 inch) 1 90° fitting 1 Differential lock valve 2 Screw (1/4 x 2 inches) 2 Flange nut (1/4 inch) 1 Hose Figure 1 Procedure 1. Release and raise the seat. Make sure that the seat latch is engaged. 2. Install the mount plate to the frame cross member with 2 screws (3/8 x 1 inch) and 2 nuts (3/8 inch). Position the plate as shown in Figure 1. 1.

8. Install the female end of the new hose to the 90° fitting on the right side of the transmission (Figure 2). 3 Installing the Switch Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Switch 1 Wire harness Procedure 1. Remove the plug from the control panel to expose the switch-mounting hole (Figure 3). 2. Insert the switch into the control-panel hole (Figure 3). Position the switch so that you press it forward. Disengage the seat latch and lower the seat. 10. Press the front of the switch and hold it down to engage the differential lock. 7. Plug the fuse block connector on the wire harness into the fuse block and plug the ground block connector into the ground block (Figure 5).
