Procedure
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
engagetheparkingbrakeandremovethekeyfrom
theignitionswitch.
2.Disconnectthenegative(–)batterycablefromthe
battery.
WARNING
Wearsafetygogglesandrubbergloveswhen
workingwithbatteries.Sincethegasesare
explosive,keepopenamesandelectricalspark
awayfrombatteries.Donotsmoke.
3.Pressthesteeringcolumnpedaldown,pivotthe
steeringtowerforwardasfaraspossibleandthen
releasethepedal
4.Movetheseatlatch,locatedontheleftsideofthe
seat,rearwardtounlatchtheseatandpullforward
onthetopoftheseatuntiltheseatlatchcatches
supportingseatplate(
Figure1).

5.Raiseandsecurethehoodasfollows:
•Releasethehoodlatches.
•Liftuponthehooduntiltheproprodcanbe
positionedbehindtheframetube(Figure2).

1.Removetheknockoutplug,locatedbetweenthe
brakepedalandthesteeringcolumnintheoor
plate(Figure3).Iftheoorplatedoesnothavea
knockoutplug,proceedtothenextstepfordrilling
instructions.
