MAINTENANCE DEFLECTOR To adjust the discharge chute deflector loosen the large wing nuts on each side of the chute, Raise or lower the cap as desired, Lowering the cap will reduce the distance the snow is thrown, Note: Do not lower deflector any more than necessary in heavy wet snow as this tends to clog chute (Fig. 14).
