Subject: PTO Spring Centering Coupler Rework
The PTO Spring Centering Coupler on units listed above is rigidly mounted to the
engine flywheel and does not proper absorb cyclical loading inherent in diesel engines.
This situation may allow the PTO Spring Centering Coupler to develop fractures around
the centering hub and disengaging the PTO pump, rendering the cutting units
inoperable.
The improved PTO Spring Centering Coupler incorporates a load absorbing spring hub,
which offers improved durability and simplifies center hub alignment.
Contact your local Toro distributor for details regarding the Factory Rework Program for
installation of the improved PTO Spring Centering Coupler.
