CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,thepressurized,
hotcoolantcanescapeandcauseburns.
•Allowtheenginetocooldownbeforeopening
theradiatorcap.
•Donotopentheradiatorcapwhentheengine
isrunning.
•Usearagwhenopeningtheradiatorcap,and
openthecapslowlytoallowsteamtoescape.
Thecoolingsystemislledwitha50/50solutionof
waterandpermanentethyleneglycolantifreeze.
1.Cleandebrisoffofthescreen,oilcooler,andfront
oftheradiatordailyandmoreoftenifconditions
areextremelydustyanddirty.Refertothesection
onRemovingDebrisfromtheCoolingSystemin
Maintenance.
2.Removethecapfromtheradiator.
3.Thecoolantlevelneedstobe30mm-40mm
(1.2-1.6inches)belowthetopofthellerneck.

Every500hours
Useonlyclean,freshdieselfuelwithlow(<500ppm)
orultralow(<15ppm)sulfurcontent.Theminimum
cetaneratingshouldbe40.Purchasefuelinquantities
thatcanbeusedwithin180daystoensurefuel
freshness.
Fueltankcapacity:42l(11gallons)
Usesummergradedieselfuel(No.2-D)attemperatures
above-7°C(20°F)andwintergrade(No.1-Dor
No.1-D/2-Dblend)belowthattemperature.Useof
wintergradefuelatlowertemperaturesprovideslower
ashpointandcoldowcharacteristicswhichwillease
startingandreducefuellterplugging.
Useofsummergradefuelabove-7°C(20°F)will
contributetowardlongerfuelpumplifeandincreased
powercomparedtowintergradefuel.
Important:Donotusekeroseneorgasoline
insteadofdieselfuel.Failuretoobservethis
cautionwilldamagetheengine.

Fuelisharmfulorfatalifswallowed.Long-term
exposuretovaporscancauseseriousinjuryand
illness.
•Avoidprolongedbreathingofvapors.
•Keepfaceawayfromnozzleandgastankor
conditioneropening.
•Keepfuelawayfromeyesandskin.

•Neversmokewhenhandlingfuel,andstay
awayfromanopenameorwherefuelfumes
maybeignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinanapprovedcontainerandkeepit
outofthereachofchildren.Neverbuymore
thana30-daysupplyoffuel.
•Donotoperatewithoutentireexhaustsystem
inplaceandinproperworkingcondition.
