•Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
•Getimmediatemedicalhelpifuidisinjected
intoskin.

Note:Keepwaterawayfromelectricalcomponents.
Useadryclothorbrushtocleansuchareas.
Thisprocedureisbestcarriedoutwhenthehydraulicoil
iswarm(nothot).Lowerthecutterheadstotheground
anddrainthehydraulicsystem.
1.Removetheoiltankllerangetogainaccessto
thesuctionstrainer.
2.Unscrewandremovethestrainerandcleanwith
parafnorpetrolbeforeinstalling.
3.Installthereturnlineoillterelement.
4.Installthetransmissionoillterelement,refer
to
ChangingtheTransmissionOilFilter(page39).
5.Installthedrainplugandrellthehydraulictank
withfreshcleanhydraulicoiloftherecommended
grade,referto
Specications(page18).
6.Runthemachineandoperateallhydraulicsystems
untilthehydraulicoiliswarm.
7.Checktheoillevelandtopupasnecessarytothe
uppermarkonthesightlevelgauge.
