Procedure

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe

cuttingunits,andengagetheparkingbrake.

2.Lowerthecuttingunittothe1inchheight-of-cut

setting,movethethrottlelevertotheSLOW

position,shutofftheengine,settheparking

brake,andremovetheignitionkey.

3.Removethe2beltcoversfromthetopofthe

cuttingunitanddiscardthecovers.

4.Removeanydebrisfromthetopofthecutting

unit.

Procedure

1.Relievethetensiononthemowerbelt.

2.Removethe3nuts,washers,andcarriagebolts

securingthemountingbracketsofthegearbox

tothemowerdeck(Figure1).

Note:Thedriveshaftdoesnotneedtobe

removedfromthegearbox.
