1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,settheparking

brake,lowerthecuttingunits,turntheignitionoff,and

removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.

CAUTION

Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,

someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand

seriouslyinjureyouorbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch

beforeyoudoanymaintenance.

2.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefromthebattery

post.
