1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,

removetheignitionkeyandengageparkingbrake.

CAUTION

Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,

someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand

seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch

beforeyoudoanymaintenance.

2.Disconnectthenegativebatterycable.Refertoyour

Operator’sManualinformationaboutaccessingthe

battery.

3.Openthehood.

4.Removethe(2)cotterpinssecuringtherearhoodpivot

mountstotheframepivotsandliftoffthehood.

5.Removetherearscrewsthatsecurethehoodpivot

mountstothehood(

Figure1).Onlyremovetherear

screwfromeachhoodpivotmount.

6.Mountthelighttotheplatemountwith(2)#10x5/8

inchscrewsand#10locknuts(

Figure1).Donotover

tighten.Makesurethelenspointsdownwardandthe

wiresareinsertedthroughtheholeintheplatemount.

7.Usingthe(2)screwspreviouslyremoved,installthe

platemounttothehoodpivotmountsandthehood

8.Installthehoodandsecureitwiththecotterpins.

Makesurethelightwiresareroutedbetweenthehood

andtheframe.

9.Connectthelicenseplatelightwireharnessasfollows:

•Plugthewireharnessbulletconnectorsintothe

connectoronthelicenseplatelight.

•Plugtheconnectorontheotherendoflicense

platelightwireharnessintotheconnectoronthe

L.H.taillight.Ifthemainlightkitwireharnessis

connectedtotheL.H.taillight,unplugit.

•PlugtheL.H.taillightwireharnessconnectorinto

theopenconnectoronthelicenseplatelightwire

harness.

10.Securethewirestoframepivotwiththeharnessclip

andcabletie.Also,securetheremainingwireswith

cableties.

Important:Makesurethewiresareclearofall

hot,sharpormovingcomponents.

11.Connectthenegativebatterycabletothebattery.

12.Closeandsecurethehood.

13.Checktheoperationofthelicenseplatelight.
