Installation Instructions
Note: Right and left side refers to operator’s right or left
side.
Install Extension Spring
1. Disconnect negative (–) battery cable. Remove
steering wheel, parking brake latch rod knob, mount
screws for the steering column tower cover and
remove cover (Fig. 1).

2. Measure 5/” up from the center of the bottom
mount hole in left side of the steering column tower
and /” in. from the rear edge. Center punch and drill
a /” hole (Fig. 2).
3. Insert capscrew through the hole, install a spacer and
spring and locknut.
4. Measure /” rearward of the bend in the brake pedal
and /” down from the top edge. Center punch and
drill a /” hole through pedal (Fig. 2).
5. Insert / x /” cotter pin from left to right and open
the pin ends.
6. Stretch spring down and insert end through the cotter
pin head (Fig. 2). Be sure spring clears other machine
components.

Install Brake Switch
1. If switch isn’t assembled to switch bracket, mount it
with two pan head screws (Fig. 3).
2. Position switch and bracket assembly on top of brake
pedal, push assembly down until switch actuator is
flush with the switch body (actuated) and center punch
the bracket mounting holes (Fig. 3).
3. Drill /” holes for the mount holes. Install an
R–Clamp over the switch wire, insert a thread forming
screw through the clamp and use it and another screw
to mount bracket and switch (Fig. 3).
