2.Lowerthecuttingunitstotheground.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Openthebatterycompartmentdoor(Figure1).

5.Disconnectthenegative(-)batterycablefrom
thebattery.
WARNING
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcould
damagethemachine,cables,and
causingsparks.Electricalsparkscan
causethebatterygassestoexplode,
resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative
(black)batterycablebefore
disconnectingthepositive(red)
cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)
batterycablebeforeconnectingthe
negative(black)cable.
WARNING
Batteryterminalsormetaltools
couldshortagainstmetalmachine
components,causingsparks.Electrical
sparkscancausethebatterygassesto
explode,resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Whenremovingorinstallingthe
battery,donotallowthebattery
terminalstotouchanymetalpartsof
themachine.
•Donotallowmetaltoolstoshort
betweenthebatteryterminalsand
metalpartsofthemachine.
•Alwayskeepthebatterystrapinplace
toprotectandsecurethebattery.
