cuttingunitsloweredtothegroundwhileoperatingthemachineonslopes.Raisingthecuttingunitswhileoperatingonslopescan
causethemachinetobecomeunstable.

2.Cutting/dismembermenthazard,mowerblade—keep
bystandersaway;donotcarrypassengersonthemachine.
9.Disengage
3.Sliding/lossofcontrolhazard;tippinghazard,drop-offs—do
notmowneardrop-offs;keepawayfromdrop-offs;donotturn
athighspeeds;turnatlowspeeds.
10.Engage
4.Tippinghazard—weartheseatbeltwhenarollbarisinplace;
donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbarislowered.
11.Parkingbrake
5.Thrownobjecthazard—keepbystandersaway;lowerthe
deectorbeforeusingthemachine.
12.Starttheengine—Cleangrassanddebrisfromthemower
beltandpulleys,disengagethePTO,setthedriveinneutral,
engagetheparkingbrake,turnthekeytopoweronthe
mower,andturnthekeyfullytostarttheengine.
6.Warning—engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,and
removethekeybeforeleavingthemachine.
