rampthatiswiderthanthemachineforthisprocedure.
Drivethemachineuprampsinreverseanddriveit
downrampsinaforwarddirection(Figure63).

Whenloadingorunloadingthemachine,
usetheseatbeltandensurethattheroll
barisintheraisedposition.Ensurethat
therollbarcanclearthetopofanenclosed
trailer.
Useonlyafull-widthramp;donotuse
individualrampsforeachsideofthe
machine.
Donotexceeda15°anglebetweenthe
rampandtheground,orbetweentheramp
andthetrailerortruck.
Ensurethattheramplengthisatleast4
timesaslongastheheightofthetraileror
truckbedtotheground.Thisensuresthat
therampangledoesnotexceed15°onat
ground.
Drivethemachineuprampsinreverseand
driveitdownrampsinaforwarddirection.
Whiledrivingthemachineonaramp,avoid
suddenaccelerationordeceleration,as
thiscouldcausealossofcontrolora
tipoversituation.
