DANGER

In certain conditions, gasoline is extremely ﬂ ammable

and highly explosive. A ﬁ re or explosion from gasoline

can burn you and others and can damage property.

• Drain gasoline from the fuel tank when the engine is

cold. Do this outdoors in an open area. Wipe up any

gasoline that spills.

• Never smoke when draining gasoline, and stay away

from an open ﬂ ame or where a spark may ignite the

gasoline fumes.

Fuel Tank Replacement

Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface.

2. Disengage the power take off (PTO).

3. Set the parking brake.

4. Turn the ignition key to Off and remove the key.

5. Turn the fuel valve to the Off position (Fig. 379).

7. Remove the fuel line from the fuel pump and drain

the fuel into a suitable container (Fig. 381).

6. Slide the hose clamp down the fuel line (Fig. 380).
