31. Install the upper linkage rod into the handle and the

bellcrank assemblies (Fig. 544).

33. Install a hairpin cotter into the top end of the upper

linkage rod (Fig. 546).

32. Install a hairpin cotter into the bottom end of the

upper linkage rod (Fig. 545).

30. Install and tighten the nut securing the parking brake

handle assembly (Fig. 543).
