15. Slide the transmission axle out of the transmission
coupler and chassis (Fig. 831).

14. Remove the two bolts and nuts that secure the
transmission axle fl ange bearing to the chassis (Fig.
830).
16. Remove the coupler/coupler guard from the trans-
mission shaft (Fig. 832).

17. Remove the cable tie that secures the choke cable
to the mounting leg of the transmission (Fig. 833).
