12. Position the belt cover onto the mower deck and

secure in place using knobs (Fig. 029).

13. Route the wire harness through the opening

between the oil ﬁ ller tube and the engine and then

around to the right side of the engine (Fig. 030).

14. Plug the mag wire (red and black) bullet connecter

into the wire harness (Fig. 031).

11. Check the belt guide under the engine frame for

proper adjustment. The distance between the

belt guide and mower belt should be 3/4” (19mm)

when the mower belt is engaged. Adjust the belt if

necessary. The disengaged belt should not drag

or fall off the pulley when the guides are properly

adjusted (Fig. 028).
