9. Install 6 spindle mounting bolts to secure the spindle

housing to the mower deck (Fig. 1130).

8. Install the set screw, securing the pulley to the

spindle shaft (Fig. 1129).

Note: The 40”, 48” and 52” mower decks have

a washer installed on the center spindle

housing mounting bolt located under the

PTO lever (Fig. 1131).

10. Install a nut on each of the spindle mounting bolts

(Fig. 1132).
