3. Remove the hairpin cotter from the clevis pin on the

lower end of the speed control rod (Fig. 308).

2. Remove the upper hairpin cotter from the speed

control rod (Fig. 307).

Note: The operator’s manual tube was removed

and the ignition switch and OPC switch were

disconnected for photo purposes.

1. Remove the knob from the speed control lever (Fig.

306).

7. Install one set screw into each OPC lever to secure

the levers onto the OPC rod (Fig. 305).
